How can I know what type of Ukulele I have?

I bought a Ukulele after a recent trip to Hawaii, then I found out that
there are different types and different tunings for each type.

The music store where I bought it cannot help me because they know less
about the instrument than I do.

The area I live in is not exactly Uke friendly and I was lucky to find one
at all.

Any help would be appreciated, I found a website that gave the tuning of "My
Dog has Fleas" GCEA I believe but I don't know if that is right.

Thanks

gcea is the standard tuning for all ukuleles but the baritone (which
is the size of a small guitar. So for tuning, you don't really need
to know which kind you have. The smallest is called a standard, and
then there is one a little bit bigger called a concert, and then there
is the tenor, which has a much larger body than the standard but you
would never mistake it for a guitar.

You can probably search for plans on the web or something that would
give the standard body and neck dimensions for the various uke sizes.

Good luck!

If the neck joins the body at the 14th fret, it is probably a tenor. If it
joins the body at the 12th fret, it is probably a soprano or a concert.
